St. Mary’s Senior Secondary School, Bazpur celebrated its annual day on November 15, 2018, centered around the theme “Aviral Dhara” encapsulating a plentitude of activities that expressed a gamut of emotions. The chief guest was Squardon leader Gaurav Singh IAF. The guest of honour was Mr.Mukesh Chandra Binjola C.O. Bazpur. The cultural programme depicting the theme “Aviral Dhara” comprised ‘Stuti Vandan’, the prayer dance,’Meri Abhilasha’ depicting the journey of a girl child an unwanted thing in the society. A skit about the impact of social media on the youth. “National Integration: a call for unity, Peace and Harmony”. It was beautifully conveyed by the ‘Messengers of Peace’ through a blend of dance and drama. The Chief Guest was all praise for the show. He congratulated the school for taking such a topic which requires quick moral action on everyone’s part. He expressed his concern over the excess use of smart phones and internet by the students which is diverting them from their goal in life. He urged the parents to encourage and praise their children for their good work and achievements, as appreciation give them indomitable strength to face the world. The function concluded with the rendering of the National Anthem.
